Ruben G. Martinez, PhD
Dr. Ruben G. Martinez is an implementation scientist and licensed clinical psychologist. He is currently the training director at the Brown Research on Implementation and Dissemination to Guide Evidence use (BRIDGE) program, one of the premier implementation science training programs in the USA. He also serves as Chair of the American Psychological Association’s Advisory Committee for Measurement-Based Care, helping guide national efforts to improve how mental healthcare is delivered and evaluated.
Dr. Martinez has worked in implementation science for 15 years, with a focus on making implementation science practical and actionable. He has served as an implementation scientist on 13 NIH grants, partnering with healthcare systems, mental health clinics, school districts, and research teams to support meaningful, sustained change.
His work has particularly focused on focused on helping organizations make strategic, practical decisions across the implementation process—from identifying barriers to selecting strategies to using data to guide improvement.
